Below you can find the ten host venues for matches at Euro 2024 along with their stadium capacities:

  • Berlin: Olympiastadion Berlin (71,000)
  • Cologne: Cologne Stadium (43,000)
  • Dortmund: BVB Stadion Dortmund (62,000)

As one of the 11 grounds which held matches for Euro 2020, Munich’s Football Arena will have the unique claim of hosting matches in successive tournaments.

Nine of the stadiums were also used at the 2006 World Cup, with the Dusseldorf Arena being the latest addition.

Munich is most southernly of all the grounds, located in the south east of Germany, with Stuttgart in the south west.

On the other hand, Hamburg is the most northern of the host venues in the north west, while capital Berlin is in the north east.

Four of the host venues are crammed quite tightly together in the middle west of the nation.

Dusseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen are all close together.

Frankfurt is a bit further south to this group, while Leipzig are over to the east of the country.

The opening game will be held at the Munich Football Arena on June 14.

Meanwhile, the final will be at the Olympiastadion Berlin on July 14.
