Here’s who will be going through the treacherous course this season
LOVE Island stars may have put themselves to the test by spending months in the villa, but now they’re trading it in for something more gruelling than a coupling up ceremony.
Two former islanders have agreed to sign up to this year’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which will air later this year.
Chloe Burrows, who appeared on Love Island in 2021, and Adam Collard, who appeared in the 2018 and 2022 villas, will be putting themselves to the ultimate test.
A source told The Sun: “Bosses were thrilled to sign Chloe and Adam as they have a huge fanbase from Love Island, so it helps hook that demographic into the show.
“Like most celebs, Chloe is out of her comfort zone doing a show like SAS but she wants to prove to herself that she can do hard things.
“As for Adam, he’s fit as a fiddle so should find the physical challenges easier than some, but the SAS crew will want want to put him through it mentally too in the interrogations and get to the bottom of his cocky exterior.”
Dubbed the world’s toughest reality show, Chloe and Adam will be taught SAS training techniques in a bid to complete the training course in tough terrain.
Previous seasons have seen the show film from the Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan to the Vietnamese Jungle.
Sometimes the show proves so tough that celebrities are removed on medical grounds – with injuries, hypothermia and heatstroke all being reasons for previous removals.
Directing staff Jason Fox, Mark Billingham and Rudy Reyes are all expected to return.
Chloe and Adam join a host of Love Island stars who have signed up to the show in the past – with Camilla Thurlow, Curtis Pritchard, Amber Gill, Montana Brown and Teddy Soares.
Wes Nelson, who appeared on Love Island season four alongside Adam, won the course in 2021.
The pair will be making an appearance on an upcoming series, with another series of the show, this time set in New Zealand, set to air later this year.
Other competitors are yet to be announced, but the celebrity version of the series is held in order to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
In the last series that aired, Gareth Gates made it through the course and won the show, beating out former MP Matt Hancock.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns to Channel 4 later this year.
