Scroll down to reveal five hot picks from The Range
WITH the sticky heat and sun blaring through the windows, it’s little surprise children struggle to sleep in the summer months.
But, if you find your little one tossing and turning as the warmer weather hits and would much prefer to have yourself a lay in, then you may just want to listen up!
That’s because a savvy mum has shared a bargain buy from The Range that she believes could be the perfect solution.
And the best part of all? It’s currently half price in the sale!
Sarah Louise Davis took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and posted a snap of the portable blackout curtain in space black.
Alongside the post, she wrote: “For those who’d like a kids’ blackout blind but don’t want to spend the £30+ got this one today in The Range should be £16.99 but marked 50% so £8.49 they are online too.
“We have the Tommee Tippee one already and this is exactly the same!!”
The bargain buy offers 100% black out and UV protection, is adjustable in size (100 x 1230cm) and regulates room temperature.
Meanwhile, the blackout curtain sold on Tommee Tippee looks almost identical and retails at £24.99 – meaning shoppers can save themselves a whopping £16.50 by snapping it up from The Range.
It wasn’t long before the post garnered several likes and comments from parents up and down the country – with people noting it’s perfect for taking on holiday or even using in the car.
“These are brilliant,” enthused one social media user.
A second agreed: “This is good!”
A third tagged a friend and wrote: “If you go to The Range please get me one.”
Meanwhile, another noted: “Needed for my room.”
And it’s not the first time parents have been praising blackout blinds for helping their children get some much-needed shut-eye when it’s toasty outside.
Fabulous previously told how a savvy woman named Amy was raving about the ‘Temporary Paper Blackout Blinds’ from Dunelm.
She excitedly took to Facebook group B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More and wrote: “My kids kept waking up stupidly early because of the sun… these are so good for the price!
“I did two balcony door windows in my kids’ room.
“Not very aesthetically pleasing but definitely do the job!”
She continued: “£6.50. They have double sided tape on to attach to the window but could work if you bought Velcro so they can be took down as and when!”
According to the product description, the temporary pleated blind, which is crafted from paper, is “ideal for use when decorating or waiting for new curtains or blinds” and is “super easy to fit in your windows.”
