HOLLYOAKS star Amy Maghera has given birth to her second baby.
Amy, 41, delighted fans as she made the announcement on Instagram today, revealing she had chosen the name Kaya for her daughter.
The actress shared an adorable black-and-white shot of herself embracing the cherub from her hospital bed.
In her caption, she wrote: “Kaya Lana Taub.”
Amy was showered with well wishes from her former co-stars, with Maxine Minniver star Nikki Sanderson both writing: “Congratulations.”
Stephanie Waring inserted a string of heart emojis in the comments section too.
The soap star, who played Neeta Kaur on the Channel 4 show between 2015 and 2017, first revealed her pregnancy in January.
Amy, who welcomed her first baby just 18 months prior with her husband Ethan Taub, shared a sweet photo of her baby scan.
The actress penned: “Here we go again! The feet of my second babe.
“If anyone has any advice with how to raise two kiddos so close in age please let me know. Let the madness continue.”
Her character was involved in one of the soap’s most controversial storylines which saw her embark on a secret relationship with one of her teenage pupils.
The character of school teacher Neeta was also embroiled in a bitter court battle storyline with her abusive fiancé Mac Nightingale (David Easter).
Neeta then met a tragic end after Mac intentionally let her plummet to her death during a blaze at the school where she worked after she told him she would choose her schoolboy lover Hunter McQueen over him.
Amy has also enjoyed a successful career in modelling and has worked with global brands such as Olay, Skechers, L’Oreal and Nokia.
She also performed as a backing dancer for A-list music stars including Kanye West and Guns N’ Roses.
