The star has wiped all sign of her from his social media
CORONATION Street star Jacob Roberts has ended his relationship with his girlfriend after five years.
The actor, who joined the cobbles as Christopher ‘Kit’ Green, has deleted all sign of PR Amy Harris from his Instagram.
Before the split, the pair had frequently appeared on each other’s grids, appearing at events together and sharing pics from loved-up dinners.
However, with Amy now doing the same, they’ve signalled the end of their half-decade long romance.
The Sun has reached out to ITV for comment.
The split comes just weeks after Jacob joined the ITV soap, after previously appearing on Hollyoaks.
He played the loveable but troubled Damon Kinsella on the Channel 4 soap from 2017 to 2023.
Unfortunately, he was axed in one of the show’s character culls.
However, he has now found his feet in Weatherfield, joining the soap and getting thrust into the deep end in a storyline that’s currently taking shape.
Kit is a police officer who was introduced as part of Lauren Bolton’s disappearance investigation, and is working in the same department as Craig Tinker (Colson Smith)
He’s also the secret estranged son of Bernie Winters (Jane Hazlegrove) and has proven frosty towards his mum in the few scenes they’ve been in together.
Jane warned this was just the start for the pair.
“Bernie is carrying huge guilt over Kit. She’s managed to bury this guilt for years but deep down, she’s never stopped thinking about him and his well being,” Jane explained.
“I believe Bernie would love to begin building a relationship with Kit and try to fix all of her wrongs,” she added.
However, as much as she wants to reconnect and rebuild the relationship with her son, she also knows he resents her.
He is also out for some sort of revenge, which is the last thing she needs as her other son Paul (Peter Ash) is dying from MND (Motor neurone disease).
She also warned: “She has always imagined what he would be like but I think she perhaps realises that he’s not as decent as she had hoped he would be so she also now needs to face the reality of what and who he is rather than the imagined son she’s always kept in her head and heart for all of these years.”
