Ben Whittaker often dazzles with his eye-catching style in the ring
BEN WHITTAKER is back in action THIS WEEK as he takes on Ezra Arenyeka – the man who crashed his press conference earlier this year.
Whittaker is one of the most promising prospects in British boxing and has shone as a professional so far and gets to showcase his skills at Selhurst Park.
In the amateurs, Whittaker won an Olympic silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics – famously refusing to put the medal on during the ceremony.
Since he entered the paid ranks, he’s caused controversy in the ring with his showboating style and has been accused of disrespecting opponents with his antics.
But nobody’s been able to beat him so far, though one man thinks he has the tools to do so.
Arenyeka crashed Whittaker’s last pre-fight press conference and vowed in front of dozens of onlookers that he would knock the Brit out.
Well now he gets his chance on a huge summer show in South London.
