All Saints set to play Glastonbury hints Nicole Appleton ahead of band’s 30th anniversary

She also revealed the current status of the line-up

ALL Saints could be gearing up to play Glastonbury next year if the band have their way.

Singer Nicole Appleton has admitted it would take just one call to get the band back together and performing together again on the Pyramid Stage.

In a new interview, Nicole confessed that she and her fellow bandmates – Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis and her sister Natalie Appleton – would all leap at the chance to take to the Glastonbury stage next year.

The band haven’t worked together professionally since 2020 but Nicole confessed that if Worthy Farm were to come calling then they would all sign up without hesitation.

Speaking to OK Magazine, Nicole said: “All Saints would love to perform at Glastonbury, absolutely,.

“If people are hungry for it, then definitely.”

The band will be celebrating their 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album in 2027 but next year will mark the 30 years since the current line-up formed for the very first time.

It could provide an excellent opportunity for the pop hitmakers to delight their fans with a comeback performance.

Despite their Glastonbury dreams, Nicole did admit that they had no plans to get back together for any occasion other than the major music festival.

She added of herself and her bandmates: “We’ve spent 25 years together, but when it comes to performing, not this year.

“We’re all sort of doing our own thing at the moment, so it’s kind of nice that we can have a little bit of a break.

“I’m quite happy doing what I’m doing and the girls are happy doing what they’re doing, but it’s all good.”

All Saints’ latest release was in 2020 when they teamed up once again to release a cover of Message In A Bottle alongside Sting.

Their track Never Ever is the third best-selling song by a UK girl group on the British singles charts.

Their rumoured Glasto appearance comes amid growing speculation that fellow bands Girls Aloud and Spice Girls could be set to headline the festival.

Girls Aloud first sparked rumours of an appearance at this year’s festival to coincide with their mammoth 30-date arena tour whilst Spice Girls star Mel B admitted that she and her band pals are desperate to take to the famous stage.
